How do you get more exposure/views with videos online?

Im a pro BMX rider from Maui, Hawaii. Im not a big name, like the guys on TV, I do have a few sponsors though. Basically im trying to get my videos for my sponsors more out there on the internet, I post them on you tube and vimeo but don't get tons of views like some videos that I've seen, which seem less likely to be watched. Is it something im doing wrong? Basically I'm trying to represent my sponsors better through the internet and with online videos, any tips?
